This is good start but it could use some polish. The esc key should bring up a menu or at least an exit option. Jumping feels a little awkward as well. Keep at it. This could be a great bridge between the classics and SOTN.
But the point of easyrpg is take rpgmaker2003 games that would run only on windows, and be able to run it on other platforms, i.e. android and mac.
You could say that the games made in this engine are multi-platform by default, being that the support to play on other systems using easyrpg is official, and encouraged by developers.

I could revisit this game in the future and fix some bugs / polish some stuff, but for now, i guess i'm not in the gamedev mood.

if you install easyrpg on android and put the game in the right folder, it can be played on your phone.
so in logic term imma emulate it?
